Abstract
•Honey comb-like thin membrane and paper were fabricated from cellulose acetate/chitosan blend (CC).•The electrochemical properties of PANI/MWCNT based sustainable electrode materials with flexible CC substrates were analyzed.•The BET results revealed that the mixed matrix membrane (MMM) possess higher surface area than paper and hence exhibiting higher capacitance properties.
