Abstract
•The importance of Tropical Neurology Education is crucial due to the high incidence of so called neglected tropical diseases that affect the Nervous System of millions of people around the world.•Around 3.3 billion people, almost half of the world population, live in the tropics. In the last decades due to global climate change many parts outside of these geographical boundaries are becoming “tropical regions” as well.•Tropical Countries are facing also a double epidemiological burden due to coexistence neglected tropical diseases and chronic non-communicable diseases.•Tropical Neurology Education is a World Federation of Neurology outstanding priority.
