MAGNIMS score predicts long-term clinical disease activity-free status and confirmed disability progression in patients treated with subcutaneous interferon beta-1a

•Validation of the MAGNIMS score over the longest period to date is presented.•Year 1 MAGNIMS score predicted disease worsening in sc IFN B-1a treated patients.•Lower scores correlated with a longer time to clinical disease activity.•Lower scores correlated with a longer time to confirmed disability progression.•Higher scores were associated with a higher risk of disease worsening.
