Abstract
The performance of a cyber-physical system (CPS) is affected by many factors, however the impact of human performance on a CPS is often overlooked. Modelling and simulation play an important role in understanding CPSs, and co-simulation offers a way to easily incorporate human performance models into co-models of CPSs. This paper demonstrates an initial human performance model in the form of a train driver model in the railway domain. The model is linked to models of the rolling stock and movement authority using the Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI). Initial results are presented and a discussion of future directions for the work.
