Onset of hard magnetic MnGa thin film on glass substrate

摘要
The figure shows the cross sectional TEM image of 200 nm-thick MnGa thin film after in-situ annealing at 325 °C. Many small grains (dotted regions) shown at the interface between the film and glass substrate represented the L10 MnGa nuclei and grain growth is indicated by the big L10 MnGa grains (dashed regions) The inset of the select areal diffracrion pattern and the hysteresis loop depicted the existence of L10 phase and the hard magnetic property of the MnGa thin film respectively. In summary, the onset temperature for the order–disorder of the thin film is determined to be at 325 °C.
