Background and Aims: Familial hypercholesterolaemia (FH) and elevated lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] are hereditary conditions independently associated with coronary artery disease (CAD). This study investigated the yield of detecting new cases of elevated Lp(a) while cascade testing individuals with genetically confirmed FH.
