Background and Aims: The beneficial effect of lipid lowering for the prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD) has indisputably been shown. Therefore 2019 ESC/EAS lipid guidelines have dropped low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) targets. This post-hoc analysis of the observational study on dyslipidemia management in Turkey (EPHESUS study) aimed to investigate achievement of LDL-C goals in primary prevention.
