Fenton/ozone-based oxidation and coagulation processes for removing metals (Cu, Ni)-EDTA from plating wastewater

摘要
•Plating wastewater with high concentrations of Cu, Ni and COD was treated.•The combination of Fenton, ozone and coagulation/flocculation in 3 stage-treatment was utilized.•Conditions of pH, H2O2 dose, Fe2+ dose, ozone, reaction time, PAA dose were optimized.•Water quality parameters and ORP changes of the reaction solution were observed.•Mechanism of Cu and Ni removal by the AOPs was proposed and demonstrated.
