The Mechanical Performance Analysis of CFETR CSMC Double Current Lead

Abstract
The Central Solenoid Model Coil (CSMC) is a preparatory towards the final fabrication of China Fusion Engineering Test Reactor (CFETR) Central Solenoid (CS) coil. CSMC is being designed and partly fabricated in Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ASIPP). During the process, lots of numerical simulation have been performed to evaluate the design of winding packs and preload system. Nowadays, the feasibility verification for the design and fabrication of local conductor components have been launched. As the terminal of CSMC conductor, the current lead plays a role of input and output the current to the winding packs. The prayer-hand structure is designed for the double current lead. In the paper, the double current lead at the high field region is selected for the mechanical analysis. The electromagnetic calculation is carried out first to obtain the distribution of Lorentz force. Then the structural analysis under different load cases are performed.
