•A biostrategy shows high efficiency to valorize the DAPL of lignocellulose.•B-10 can tolerate the inhibitors in DAPL to accumulate PHB.•1.496 g/L of PHB was obtained from the waste sugar.•The synthesized PHA exhibited favorable thermoplastic property.
