Negative-parity bands of Pd-115 and band structures in Pd-113,Pd-115,Pd-117

Level structures of Pd-113,Pd-115,Pd-117 have been studied using Gammasphere with a spontaneous fission source of Cf-252. A new 85.1-keV transition was identified in Pd-113, to place the 11/2(-) band head at 166.1 keV and indicate the spin and parity of the isomeric state is 9/2(-) at 81.0 keV rather than the previously assigned 11/2-. New low-energy transitions shown to be in prompt coincidence are confirmed at 39.0 and 49.0 keV in Pd-115. This coincidence relationship indicates a spin and parity assignment for the ground state to be 1/2(+) rather than the previously assigned 3/2(+). The identification of a low-energy transition is confirmed at 63.7 keV in Pd-117, resulting in re-assignment of the ground-state spin and parity to 3/2+. Two new levels were identified in Pd-113.115.117 and feed the 19/2(-) and 23/2(-) levels. The two new states in these nuclei are assigned 21/2(-) and 23/2(-).
