Heavy metal spectroscopy in extremely metal rich subdwarfs
Journal of Physics Conference Series(2020)
Abstract
Helium-rich subdwarf B stars represent a small group of low-mass hot stars. A number of significant but unfamiliar absorption lines have been identified of heavy-metal ions, such as germanium, strontium, yttrium and zirconium. The abundances in the photosphere of theses element was estimated between 1 000 and 10 000 times the solar. We calculate the collision-radiative data for the ions Sr+, Y2+ and Zr3+. Comparing with measured spectra we can determine these abundances. We compare the obtained results with the RMATRX and DARC methods.
