PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Java conversion accelerating device and method. SOLUTION: This Java conversion accelerating device includes an index table, arranged with a bytecode and a source code corresponding to the bytecode; a decoder for generating a pointer to the source code, into which the bytecode inputted in the index table is converted; a parameter bytecode processing unit for detecting a parameter bytecode, and generating the pointer to the source code necessary for constant insertion in the index table, as being contained in the decoder; a constant insertion unit for inserting a constant into the source code generated with the pointer by the parameter bytecode processing unit; and a source code buffer for storing the source code generated by the decoder or the constant insertion unit.
