Delayed reactions in drug allergy - diagnosis of drug causality

In the paper we summarized the most important practical issues in the current state of the art in the field and we also pinpointed the areas which require further investigation or where the current approach to consecutive diagnostic steps and methods is disputable. We discussed the role of intradermal and patch tests, in vitro assays and provocation tests in assessment of drug causality in delayed reactions with a special regard to pediatric population and severe cutaneous adverse drug reactions.
