Design of Automated Demand Response Management System on User Side for Office Buildings.

There are some problems in the traditional power demand response such as real-time, reliability, flexibility, and low intelligence. To solve these problems and strengthen the demand side management of electric power from the building demand side, this paper proposes an automated demand response management system from user side for office buildings. The overall function and architecture of the system are firstly designed. Then, the applicable demand response strategy is proposed according to the current situation of electricity consumption in the office building. Furthermore, the data model is designed according to the specific application requirements. The short-term electricity load forecasting and optimizing demand response strategy are realized by analyzing the data. Finally, the proposed system is applied in real projects, and it is proved that the system can obtain the demand response commands from the power grid in time and realize the demand response of the office building automatically and intelligently. The system effectively reduces the peak load and facilitates the management of users.
