An Enhanced Volleyball Premier League Algorithm with Chaotic Maps

Volleyball Premier League Algorithm (VPL) is classified as metaheuristic algorithms which is inspired by the behavior of players and coach in a match during the league. The performance of VPL is superior than other algorithms, but the slow convergence speed and trapping in a poor local optimum are its shortcomings. The main duty of an enhanced algorithm with chaotic maps (CVPL) proposed is to address those deficiencies. Four benchmark functions are selected to test the algorithm, and the results show its performance is really excellent based on enough experimental data and actual analysis.
