This paper contrasts and analyzes the image enhancement processing algorithm, median filtering and histogram equalization in the face recognition preprocessing process. The advantages and use methods of the OpenCV machine vision library are analyzed. The analyzed algorithm is implemented in the development environment of VC ++ 6.0 and MATLAB, and experiments are conducted on the ORL face library. The experimental results show that the algorithm used in this paper has obvious effect on processing face samples, has strong pertinence, and is suitable for preprocessing face images, and the OpenCV machine vision library can be used as a development tool for face recognition systems.
