Abstract
In order to meet the requirements of combined control of multiple pulsed lasers in Thomson scattering (TS) diagnostics of EAST tokamak and improve the time accuracy and resolution of plasma temperature and density measurement of EAST campaign, this paper introduces and implements a control system of multiple pulsed lasers based on FPGA. The control system of multiple pulsed lasers is designed as an exciter, which can provide accurate excitation signals for each laser device independently. After receiving the external trigger signal from the master control computer of EAST campaign, The control system of multiple pulsed lasers provides the excitation signal to the lasers correspondingly, including CLK and Q signals. The control system can set frequency, delay and other parameters for six pulsed lasers separately. This paper introduces the hardware and software design of the system, and discusses the technical parameters and accuracy of the system in detail. Finally, the experimental results are presented.
