Development Of P-Hil Test Methods And Research Infrastructure For Medium And Low Voltage Dc Systems

Due to the significant increase in power electronic components and systems on all voltage levels of electrical networks, more and more DC systems are coming into the focus of research and industry. The Austrian research projectADC Labsexplored the basics of test methods to support the development and validation process of DC components and systems based on Power Hardware in the Loop (P-HIL). Synergies between the institutions TU Graz (HV) and AIT (MV and LV) were used. In response to the development in DC technology described above and based in part on the results of theADC Labsproject, AIT is expanding its electrical research and testing infrastructure for DC experiments with higher power rating.
