摘要

•Five natural sustainable hydrophobic DESs were synthesized.•Pseudo-ternary liquid-liquid equilibria phase diagrams for IPA-Water-DESs systems were developed.•The studied systems show the good selectivity of IPA over water.•Thermodynamic modelling was done using NRTL thermodynamic model.
