摘要

•CFLSs are most commonly used in compliant mechanisms to reduce the maximum stress.•The closed-form solutions for the intermediate deflection of CFLS are proposed.•The deflections of fixed-guided CFLS are modeled for compliant parallelogram mechanisms.•A design example is provided to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method.
