Abstract
A 94 GHz frequency-modulated continuous-wave radar that is regarded as a base for creating a focal-plane array radar imaging system has been developed. The key component of the radar is an original receiver module of a simple design and with low local oscillator power requirements. The radar prototype is described and demonstration of its operation capability is presented. The problems of developing a focal-plane array radar are discussed.
