Dynamics of biomass and nutrient accumulation in rubber (Hevea brasiliensis) plantations established on two soil types: Implications for nutrient management over the immature phase

•We estimated rubber tree biomass and nutrient stocks over a plantation cycle.•Nutrient accumulation rate in trees peaked between 2 and 5 years after planting.•25–36 % of the stocks of N, P and K at the clear-cut stage were accumulated at 5 years old.•Logging residues could account for 120–1126 % of the nutrient input through fertilizers over the entire rotation.
