Facile synthesis and electrochemical performances of three dimensional Ni3S2 as bifunctional electrode for overall water splitting

Three dimensional Ni3S2 /Ni foam as the electrodes for overall water splitting have been achieved, which demonstrated outstanding hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) performances at various temperatures. The study opens new opportunities for development of self-supported noble-metal-free electrocatalyst for advancing clean energy systems.
