Comprehensive analysis of the thermal properties of capric-myristic, lauric-myristic and palmitic-stearic acids and their shape-stabilization in an inorganic support

摘要
•Complete experimental data of the thermal properties of eutectic mixtures capric-myristic (CA:MA), lauric-myristic (LA:MA) and palmitic-stearic (PA:SA) acids were obtained.•Shape-stabilization of CA:MA, LA:MA and PA:SA was achieved in a clay mineral support, thus preventing the leakage of the phase change materials.•Empirical equations of heat capacity as a function of temperature, for the binary eutectics and SS-PCMs, were proposed.
