Acute Rehabilitation Admission Rates and Level of Functional Improvements in Pediatric Patients with Autoimmune Encephalitis
Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation(2020)
Abstract
The low prevalence of autoimmune encephalitis (AE) in children, 13.7 per 100,000 individuals[2], has made tracking rehabilitation outcomes in the pediatric population historically difficult[1]. We aim to investigate the inpatient rehabilitation referral rate and degree of functional improvements among pediatric patients receiving inpatient rehabilitation for AE.
