Abstract
•The structure of BGAP magneto-optical glass was studied, and the short-range structure diagram was given.•The change of glass physical parameters with Tb3+ addition was analyzed.•The T35 glass prepared has high Verdet constant (140.15 rad/T/m), transmittance (82.3%) and Figure of Merit.•Besides studying the influence of incident wavelength on magneto-optical properties, the fluorescence properties of glass were also found.
