Interest in marine mollusks consumption has increased in coastal areas as a good source of protein, minerals, and vitamins (Periyasamy et al., 2011). Mollusks are an invertebrate with soft bodies. Mollusks meat composition and safety are affected by several factors such as species, sex, maturity, feeding regime, and seasonal conditions (Periyasamy, et al., 2011).
