Abstract
The purpose of this study is to minimize the accident caused by the failure of the flight control computer (FCC) by using the dual FCC of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). A method of constructing a system that can automatically switch and return control to a reserved FCC system within a time of up to 100 to 200 millisecond when the FCC operates abnormally during UAV flight is presented. The contents of this study are as follows. First, a system configuration methodology using an open source based FCC platform was proposed, and second, H/W and F/W were implemented according to the proposed method. Finally, the implemented system was mounted on a real drone to conduct motion and flight experiments, and the performance of the proposed system was verified.
