摘要
•Capybara, gray brocket and marsh deer avoid cattle in Argentine grasslands.•Marsh deer and gray brocket deer use less frequently areas with cattle.•Native herbivores become more nocturnal in the grasslands when cattle were present.•Indirect effects (e.g., frequent grasslands burning) also negatively affect native herbivores.•Responsible cattle management can reduce the negative effects of livestock grazing on wildlife.
