摘要
Currently, the strength of the solid rocket motor shell is always checked without the consideration of the connecting blot and the nozzle, making the simulation cannot reproduce actual operating process to the full extent. In order to address the problem, this study adopted integrated joint simulation and checked the strength of a solid rocket motor shell under the operating condition with the maximum deviation, during which the nozzle and the connecting bolt were taken into account. Main conclusions are described below: The thermal insulation thickness of the nozzle satisfied the design requirement, and the temperature rise of the metal part at the outermost layer was only 2 K, i.e., the loss of strength induced by overheating can be avoided. The safety coefficient of the combustor shell was 1.46, which suggest that it was a reasonable design and can satisfy the operating requirement. The connecting bolt, the rear joint and the metal part of the nozzle were all at low stress level, with high safety coefficients. Accordingly, the structural integrity can be maintained during the operation.
