摘要
•Woven parameters consist of fabric structure, crimp, yarn count and areal density in mechanical efficiency.•Bast fibers such contain high cellulose which suitable used as structural materials.•Fiber pull-out, grab test, tear test, puncture and tensile testing may be used to demonstrate performance of woven fabric.•Ramie woven fabric produce stiffer composite material than jute and ramie.•Defects such as porosity, matrix crack, fiber waviness, and resin-rich area could lead to a poor tensile performance.
