Abstract
In this work is analyzed the possibility to use optical techniques for the characterization of airless radial tire. Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry (ESPI), laser scanner based on principle of triangulation and Digital Image Correlation (DIC) have been used to acquire and study this kind of tire. A MICHELIN (R) X (R) TWEEL (R) UTV has been considered as case study. The acquisitions have been used for the measurement of the shape for testing junction areas and to evaluate the structure behavior under a vertical load.
