摘要
•Commercial Halloysites nanotubes are dispersed in water by ultrasonication.•Chromosomal DNA has been adsorbed onto halloysite nanotubes.•Sedimentation and collection of DNA-HNTs has been enhanced by ionic strength increase.•DNA-HNTs hybrids have been successfully separated from unbound DNA.•Adsorption isotherms for native and thermally-treated DNA have been obtained.
