Design of Clothing for Construction Workers based on Garment Ergonomics

With the continuous improvement of people's living standards, people's requirement in terms of the aesthetics, fit, comfort and practicality of clothing are increasing rapidly. The relationship between the system of people, clothing and environment, based on the garments ergonomics' idea of "people-oriented" was introduced, through the field investigation and questionnaire survey. The working environment of construction workers, and the main movement when they are working were analyzed. Through the questionnaire analysis and experiment, and combined with the actual situation, we proposed a specific design scheme for the clothing of construction workers, hoping to attract people's attention towards the construction workers 'clothing and bring about improvement in the construction workers' clothing.
