Abstract
The excellent properties of Graphene oxide (GO) and cotton fabrics were combined to improve the application value of textile. GO was coated on the surface of cotton fabric through a conventional "dip & dry" approach. Reduced graphene oxide (RGO) was obtained on cotton fabrics by using thermal reduction, sodium borohydride reduction, and Vitamin C reduction of GO/cotton composite. The influence of different reducing condition on the GO/cotton composites was thoroughly analyzed by using SEM, FTIR, fabric surface resistance, UV resistance, and water repellency test. After being reduced, the different properties of GO/cotton composite i.e. conductivity, ultraviolet resistance, water repellency have effectively improved.
