Abstract
In recent years, several trends were crated in the context of cultivation of vegetables. One of them is vegetables adaptation of supply to market requirements. The possibility of consuming fresh vegetables throughout the year. Trzby market for vegetable production in 2014 compared with the previous year increased by only 0.2% and amounted to 2.31 billion CZK. The significant year decline in sales occurred in 2014, especially in onions, garlic and celery, while a significant increase in prices was recorded for asparagus, parsnips, leeks, parsley and beet salad.
