COMPREHENSIVE QUALITY CONTROL OF NMR TOMOGRAPHY USING 3D PRINTED PHANTOM

The purpose of this work was to create a freely available 3D printer compatible phantom to fulfil the requirements for complete assessment of stable MRI scanner operation. In our work we demonstrate the ability of the presented phantom to serve as a sufficient quality control system for the evaluation of image uniformity, signal to noise ratio, geometrical distortion, low contrast, spatial resolution, slice thickness and slice positioning accuracy. The values that correspond to the measured parameters are also presented.
