Evaluation Framework of Information Service Quality

In order to understand and evaluate the quality of information service, the importance of information service quality evaluation was analyzed. The evaluation framework of information service quality was constructed. It consists of two parts: the concept model and the evaluation model. The concept model is the basis of evaluation. It contains information quality, functions of information service and performance of information service. The evaluation model was investigated based on user perception and experiences. The quality was evaluated from the comparison of user perception and expectation. The evaluation indexes were divided into seven dimensions, such as information quality, service availability, effectiveness, credibility, easiness, security and domain speciality. All the dimensions have formed the evaluation indexes system. It shows that the information service quality may be evaluated based on user's perception effectively.
