Analysis of Reasons of Causing Disaster Capacity Increasing in the Ningmeng Channel in the Yellow River Upstream Reach

The causing disaster capability of Ningmeng Channel increasing is presented by water increasement of channel storage increasing,water level rising continually,deposition in mainchannel,height defference between two sides of leeve increasing and flow conveyance decreasing, disadvantageous channel geometry.The reasons are unreasonable deposition distribution in flood plain and main-channel which reduced by absence of over-land flood, much deposition induced by inconsistent water and sediment combination and insufficient flow course to maintain flow conveyance. Author also proposes the adjustments and measures to control the disaster.
