摘要
The main purpose of this study is to examine the spatial-temporal trends of precipitation coupled with oscillation periods in the Taihu Basin, China, during 1951-2014. We examine trends via the Mann-Kendall test and evaluate periodicities by wavelet analysis. Furthermore, the cokriging method is utilized to detect the spatial distribution. Continuous wavelet transform is also applied to determine the spatial distribution of the study area. The results show the following: (1) Three stations demonstrated significant increasing trends, while three other stations indicated significant decreasing trends, and the starting points of the trends fell within the period 1991-2001. (2) The decadal precipitation in the southwestern part of the basin decreased during the study period, while there was no apparent trend in the northeastern part. (3) The three significant periodicities of annual precipitation are 4 years, 17 years and 27 years, while the three significant periodicities of precipitation in the flood season are 4 years, 18 years and 28 years.
