Directions of Improving the Economic Mechanism of Land Market State Regulation in Ukraine

In the article the directions of improving the economic regulation of the land market in Ukraine are suggested. This research made it possible to formulate a number of practical recommendations for improving the economic mechanism of land market state regulation in Ukraine. The most important measures of economic regulation of the land market are: expanding the tax collection base at the expense of the land of the water and forest fund; introduction of a tax on fertilizers and pesticides; revision of the basis for the determination of the environmental tax and the amount of penalties for violation of environmental legislation; the introduction of clear economic and environmental criteria for the withdrawal of land from arable land; annually to lay cost to the budgets at all levels to the conservation of degraded and unproductive land; development and implementation of a program to reduce the cost of loans for small and medium-sized farms.
