The above article from the Letters in Applied Microbiology published online on 31 December 2020 in Wiley Online Library (https://sfamjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/lam.13446) has been withdrawn by agreement between Wenhui Ma, Yu Zhao, and Yanyan Wang (the authors) and Jean-Yves Maillard (Chief Editor) and John Wiley & Sons Ltd. The withdrawal has been agreed because upon additional experiments measuring free ergosterol in tabersonine treated cells, the authors realized that the conclusions were not supported by the data.
