摘要

Females of Mesocyclops leuckarti (Claus 1857) inhabiting Lake Baikal (Maloe More Strait) and Lake Gusinoe, Zabaikalye (=Transbaikalia) are redescribed. Peculiar features of the species' life cycle are due to the anthropogenic impact on the hydrological conditions and the stage of the development (ageing) of the water body.
