Summary of the S2k guideline "medicolegal evaluation of adults with closed head injuries" (AWMF 094/002)

In 2005 and 2013, the German Society for Neurocientific Medicolegal Evaluations (DGNR) developed and consented together with other learned societies, among them the Society for Neu ropsychology (GNP), guidelines for the medicolegal evaluation of adults with closed head injuries. The new revision was developed on the higher S2k level of consent through a Delphi Conferebce concerning the crucial statements. The guideline describes which radiological and cliniceal features allow the assumption of structural brain damage and therefore remaining deficits.
