Influence of selected construction parameters of electromagnetic mill on its operational properties

The influence of design parameters (the number of turns of electromagnet coils, the thickness and conductivity of the working chamber enclosure) of the electromagnetic mill on such operational quantities as magnetic induction in the working chamber, current, losses due to eddy currents, power factor, equivalent phase impedance were analyzed. It was found that the number of turns of the coils is of great importance, with the larger the number of turns, the smaller the area in the working chamber.
