Possibilities of islanding operation of wind power plants

The article considers the possibilities of islanding operation of wind turbines in different network systems. A network model consisting of a wind turbine, load and electrochemical energy storage was used to carry out the research. Two cases of island network operation were considered: without storage and energy storage. The results of simulation tests were presented in the form of graphs illustrating active and reactive power balances in the system and changes in electromechanical quantities characterizing the operation of the wind turbine
