This article aims to explain the pertinence of addressing the appropriation of technologies as mediators of learning in education, and in particular with immersive learning where the Augmented Reality (AR), it is part of emerging trends that have boosted these new training approaches. It is therefore presented within the framework of an experience of teacher training of an institution of higher education in Colombia, the reflexion on the strengthening of strategies of cognitive and thought development, from the RA to promote didactic and pedagogical practices from the faculty and impact on research and innovation in the training of students.
