摘要
Although scientific studies show that physical and rehabilitative interventions in intensive and intermediate care are effective, there is a strong interclinical variation in choice of type and dose of therapy or integration into the overall therapy and nursing concept. To address these problems the German Society of Physical and Rehabilitative Medicine (DGPRM) developed the following recommendations for structure and equipment in acute care hospitals regarding physical and rehabilitative interventions in intensive and intermediate care based on literature research and expert consensus. Its aim is to give valid suggestions on minimum personnel and instrumental equipment for intensive and intermediate care units and should not be understood as clinical guideline for therapy strategy in individual cases. It includes definitions, recommendations and advice on implementation.
