摘要
Lifetimes of states in a negative-parity band involving the nu h(11)(/2) orbital in Pd-100 have been determined through Doppler shift attenuation method (DSAM) measurements performed using Indian National Gamma Array (INGA) spectrometer. The measured quadrupole transition rates, B(E2), exhibit a decreasing behavior with increasing angular momentum and with large observed I-(2) /B(E2) values. The experimental observations and semiclassical particle-rotor model calculations favor the antimagnetic rotation (AMR) phenomenon based on the pi(g(9/2))(-4) circle times nu[h(11/2) (g(7/2))(3)] configuration for the negative-parity band in the Pd-100 isotope.
